Where does our local power come from?

Crow Wing Power explains, "Our base load electricity, or the minimum amount of power needed to serve all in the Great River Energy system, (our wholesale power supplier), comes mostly from a coal-fired generation plant at Coal Creek station, north of Bismarck, North Dakota.
